Sitting on my porch enjoying this beautiful, sunny, breezy, Fall day with the ideal temperature makes me feel alive!fall-2  Sitting outside on days such as this one is when the inspiration flows for writing.  Season changes from Summer to Fall and Winter to Spring are my favorites!  The comfortable temperatures make these seasons enjoyable.  There is also something amazing about the physical transitions the earth undergoes during this time that is incredibly energizing!

We go through seasons as individuals, too.  I have just been through a season of turbulence, particularly in my day-to-day schedule.  This season has not been all bad by any means, but due to the disruption of my usual routine, it has been a challenge to get everything done.

I was sick for a few weeks which required extra rest time.  An amazing extended vacation changed my schedule in a very fun way, even though there was extra time pressure before and after the vacation.  And of course it took a while to physically recuperate from the non-stop schedule of 11 days on the road.  After a week of getting somewhat back into my usual routine, it was interrupted again by the illness of a family member.  Much of the next week was spent at the hospital.  After a week of recovering from this physically and emotionally tiring time, and doing one day at a time the necessary tasks for that day, I feel this season of turbulence coming to an end.

Thus, the significance of sitting on my porch writing on this beautiful day.  In this new season I feel inspired, peaceful, energized, motivated and grateful.

Seasons come and go.  Choose to be grateful in whatever season you find yourself so you can live! . . . life to the fullest.
